THE WILLIAMS RESIDENCE:

This renovation was awarded a Better Homes and Gardens, Honorable Mention, from more than 5,000 entrants. The rear addition kitchen was for gourmet club cooking classes, and provided a mudroom from the garage. The new kitchen has marble countertops and custom made cabinets. The walls have a sueded plaster finish. The old hardwood floors were refinished and the bathrooms retiled. The original basement was unfinished and now is entirely finished living space, the furnace was replaced and asbestos removed. The basement created a bedroom, bathroom, laundry area, and family TV room.
